If you landed on this page today, then this message is for you.
I asked the Ume Oracle, “Which area of your SELF do you need to pay more attention to for the next 7 days?
Prepare for Your Reading
Begin by taking a few cleansing breaths and quieting the chatter in your mind for a few minutes. Lower your eyelids (but don’t close them) and ask your inner self, “Which area of my whole self do I need to pay more attention to for the next 7 days?” Then look at the photo above. Which option are you drawn to: Option A, Option B, or Option C? After you have chosen, scroll below to read the message for your chosen answer.

Option A = #2 Your Body
Move daily – Even a 10-minute walk helps circulation, energy, and mood.
Hydrate regularly – Water supports every physical system, from digestion to cognition.
Sleep well – Aim for consistent sleep and a calming bedtime routine to restore your body.

Option B = #4 Your Subconscious
Practice Gratitude – Write down three things you’re thankful for each day. Your ongoing list helps you to stay open-hearted and grounded in the present.
Journal Freely – Let thoughts flow without judgment to allow hidden beliefs or feelings to surface, then take note of them.
Use mantra or affirmations – Repeat positive, present-tense statements to reshape deep-seated patterns. Try sitting quietly and focusing your attention on repeating an affirmation or mantra 7 to 21 times.
Option C = #1 Your Mind
Limit information overload– Take short breaks from screens, news, and social media to give your brain space to process.
Challenge your mind– Learn Something New. Solve Puzzles. Create Something. Use your Non-dominant Hand to do a Task. Memorize Phone Numbers, Poems, or Grocery Lists to keep your mind sharp.
Reflect daily– Spend a few minutes each evening noting what you learned or observed that day.
Put what you learned into action!
Over the next seven days, do any or all of the three suggestions related to the answer you received. Follow your inner guidance to know which one to include or increase for each day. Some days, you may only do one of the options, but do it many times. Other days, you may do all three. And there may be days when you need a rest and choose not to do any of them, but don’t neglect them for longer than a day. As always, go with your intuition or gut feeling.
What are those dice?
The dice you see above are part of the Ume Oracle Divination System I was inspired to create. This one-of-a-kind oracle consists of seven dies of differing shapes as well as an antique Japanese coin with a Radiant Sun on one side and a Spiral Dragon on the other.
The lovely Ume blossom inspired the name of this divination system. They adorn every side of these special dice. Ume is the common name for the flower of the Prunus Mume or the Japanese Plum Tree. These delicate blooms have acquired many inspirational meanings within the Japanese tradition of Hanakotoba, or the ‘Language of Flowers’.
As I have worked with this oracle, more and more meanings have come forth. I’ve found that it can help to answer life’s questions and suggest positive ways we can continue to move forward.
