If you landed on this page today, then this message is for you. I asked the Ume Oracle, “What do my readers need to know for the next 7 days?
Prepare for Your Reading
Begin by taking a few cleansing breaths and quieting the chatter in your mind for a few minutes. Lower your eyelids (but don’t close them) and ask your inner self, “Which area of my whole self do I need to pay more attention to for the next 7 days?” Then look at the photo above. Which option are you drawn to: Option 1, Option 2, or Option 3? After you have chosen, scroll below to read the message for your chosen answer.
Option 1 = A New Way Forward
The path to your goal may not be straight—and that’s not a setback, it’s an invitation. In the forest, we often move sideways to go around a fallen tree or climb over a boulder to continue forward. These detours aren’t wasted time; they offer fresh perspectives and opportunities to pause and consider your next move forward. Likewise, in your own journey, a sideways move or new approach may be exactly what opens the way. Be willing to try a different path, shift your perspective, or learn a new method—all while staying committed to your destination.
Closing Reflection: Detours are not delays—they are part of the journey. Every new perspective offers fresh wisdom, and sometimes the sideways step is what truly brings you closer to your goal.
Journal Prompt: Where in my life do I feel stuck or blocked? What alternate approach, even a small one, could help me move forward with more ease?
Option 2 = Live in the Present

Time gives us the past, present, and future, but only the present is alive. The past and future do not exist here—unless we invite them in. We do this when we replay old mistakes like reruns or let fear-filled “what ifs” of the future steal our peace. When we do those things, we bring the past into the present where it does not belong, and we give away our energy to something unreal. If you catch yourself drifting, there—stop! You are not your mistakes, and the future is not written in your worries. Each day offers a new beginning. Choose now, in this moment, to stay present. Align your thoughts and actions with positivity, and watch your future unfold in brighter ways.
Closing Reflection: The past is a teacher, and the future is possibility—but only the present is alive. Your power lives in this moment, in the choices you make right now.
Journal Prompt: What thoughts or worries from the past or future do I most often bring into my present? How can I release them and re-center myself in this moment?
Option 3 = Listen to Your Dreams
The clarity you’re seeking is already within you—often revealed in the quiet language of your dreams. Dreams are messages from the subconscious, influenced by your intuition, and filled with symbols uniquely meaningful to you. To deepen your connection, keep a dream journal by your bed. Upon waking—before your feet touch the floor—quickly jot down what you remember: the dream, your first impressions, and the date. Then, ask your intuitive self to guide your understanding of the most important symbols and the deeper meaning. Trust that you are the best interpreter of your dreams.
Closing Reflection: Your dreams are your subconscious and intuition speaking in symbols. The more you pay attention, the clearer the guidance becomes. Each entry in your journal is a step toward understanding yourself. Journaling Prompt: What recurring images, symbols, or feelings show up in my dreams? What might they be trying to reveal about my life right now?
Put what you learned into action!
Over the next seven days, take action on the answer you received. As you explore your reflections and journal prompts, trust that your inner wisdom is guiding you. Each of the messages is an invitation to return to your radiant, authentic self. Growth doesn’t happen all at once; it unfolds gently, layer by layer, just like the petals of a lotus. The more you listen, the more your light shines.
Why are you using dice?
The dice you see above are part of the Ume Oracle Divination System I was inspired to create. This one-of-a-kind oracle consists of seven dies of differing shapes as well as an antique Japanese coin with a Radiant Sun on one side and a Spiral Dragon on the other.
The lovely Ume blossom inspired the name of this divination system. They adorn every side of these special dice. Ume is the common name for the flower of the Prunus Mume or the Japanese Plum Tree. These delicate blooms have acquired many inspirational meanings within the Japanese tradition of Hanakotoba, or the ‘Language of Flowers’.

I felt strongly drawn to Option 2 and was blown away when I saw what it was. One of my biggest struggles is reliving past mistakes and wanting a “do-over” and fearing the future. This one really fit! Thank you, Ren. <3
Thank you for stopping by and reading this blog post. My heart is gladdened that the option you selected resonated with you in such a beneficial way. Our past does not exist in our present. When we relive past mistakes, traumas, and unhappy events in our mind and allow our emotions to respond to the memories, we bring them into our present, where they do not belong. We must stop ourselves from bringing our past troubles into our present day. By doing so, we can work on the healing that needs to take place and prioritize living in a more peaceful and balanced state. It is then that we can take action to correct what needs to be addressed, enjoy our present life, and move forward into our future with confidence and love. Every blessing to you, dear heart ❤️
